These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DuoShot (the “App”), an iOS application that enables recording and live streaming using the iPhone’s front and back cameras simultaneously in a PiP layout. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
If you obtained the App through the Apple App Store, these Terms supplement (and do not replace) Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) and Media Services Terms & Conditions. Where there is a conflict, the Apple terms may apply as required by Apple.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App. If you are under the age required by your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
License and Restrictions
License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on iOS devices you own or control solely for personal or professional use.
Restrictions
You agree not to:
- copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App (except to the extent permitted by applicable law);
- bypass or interfere with security-related features;
- use the App for unlawful recording, surveillance, harassment, defamation, infringement, or to violate privacy/publicity rights;
- upload or transmit malicious code;
- resell, lease, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the App except as permitted by these Terms.
Your Content & Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- obtaining all required consents from people you record or stream;
- ensuring you have the rights to any audio/video you capture and broadcast;
- compliance with local laws on recording, live streaming, and data protection;
- any costs incurred from your carrier or internet provider during streaming.
We do not host your content. Media is stored locally on your device unless you explicitly export or live stream it.

The App can publish live streams via RTMP to third-party platforms (currently YouTube). When you use these features:
- You must comply with YouTube’s Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy.
- You authorize the App to use the stream key you provide for publishing your live video and audio.
- We do not receive or control your platform account data, viewer data, comments, or analytics.

Termination
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. We may suspend or terminate your license at any time if we believe you violated these Terms. You may terminate by uninstalling the App. Upon termination, your license ends and you must cease all use of the App; certain sections (e.g., Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) will survive.
Changes to the App or Terms
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time (for example, to reflect new features or legal requirements). We’ll post the updated Terms with a new Effective date. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
